Aisling Leprechaun

Creature — Faerie

The aisling (Irish for 'dream, vision', pronounced ASH-ling), or vision poem, is a poetic genre that developed during the late 17th and 18th centuries in Irish language poetry. The word may have several variations in pronunciation, but the is of the first syllable is always realized as a ("sh") sound. Faerie is creature type used for cards that depict creatures with human appearance, often small stature, magical powers, and a penchant for trickery. In Magic: The Gathering the term “faerie” is used as an umbrella term for various non-human entities and spirits.
